Privacy Policy
The short version: our apps collect nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no servers of ours that your information passes through.
This policy covers Vandola LLC ("Vandola," "we," "us") and the apps we publish, including Venttalk.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information. Our apps do not ask you to create an account, do not request your name, email address, contacts, location, or health data, and contain no advertising or analytics software development kits.
How Venttalk handles your information
Venttalk stores a single setting — whether your status is currently red or green — on your device. That setting is kept in your device's local storage and, on Apple Watch, in a shared container that lets the watch face complication read it.
When your iPhone and Apple Watch keep this setting in sync, they do so directly with each other using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework over the encrypted link Apple maintains between your own paired devices. That data never reaches Vandola, and we have no ability to see it.
Deleting the app removes the setting entirely. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, because we never had it.
Information Apple may collect
Our apps are distributed through Apple's App Store and TestFlight. Apple may collect information about downloads, purchases, crashes, and beta usage under its own policies, and may share aggregate or anonymized reports with us as the developer. We do not control that collection. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children and collect no information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of an app collects information — for example, a feature that shares status between two people's devices — we will update this policy before that feature ships, revise the effective date above, and describe plainly what is collected and why.
